Content deleted from the end user’s machine is not deleted from the corresponding Share folder. When the user elects to be a publisher, the content they place in the monitored folder on their machine automatically uploads to the user’s Share portal home folder, where it is visible and accessible to other members of that portal. Content deleted from the portal is not deleted from the end user’s machine. When the user elects to be a subscriber, newly placed content in that Share folder downloads automatically to the end user’s machine. Once the administrator has assigned a home folder to an end user, the user can decide whether they want to “subscribe” or “publish” to that home folder.
